LIL Lithium-Ion Storage Container 30–340L

The LIL Lithium-Ion Storage Container is designed for the safe storage of damaged or defective lithium-ion batteries in professional and industrial environments.

Its robust sheet-steel construction incorporates a replaceable inner container. The cavity between the inner and outer containers, as well as the area beneath the lid, is filled with PyroBubbles®, a patented fire-protection material.

The LIL series is available in 30, 90, 220, 280 and 340 litre capacities.

Storage of Damaged and Defective Lithium-Ion Batteries

Damaged lithium-ion batteries can represent an increased fire hazard and often require controlled temporary storage.

The LIL creates a dedicated containment solution using a robust external container, replaceable inner container and a surrounding layer of PyroBubbles®.

Lockable Spring-Loaded Lid

The LIL is equipped with a lockable spring-loaded lid with handle.

The LIL 90, LIL 220, LIL 280 and LIL 340 also incorporate a lid support.

Forklift and Pallet Truck Handling

A 100 mm ground clearance allows the storage containers to be picked up using either:

• Forklift

• Pallet truck

This helps simplify internal movement between quarantine, storage, maintenance and recycling areas.

Stackable 3 High

Integrated stacking corners allow LIL containers to be stacked up to three units high, helping make more efficient use of storage space.

LIL 340 for 60-Litre Battery Collection Drums

The LIL 340 can accommodate up to two 60-litre battery collection drums, making it useful where damaged batteries are first collected in smaller drums before being placed into a larger protected storage container.
