3-Ply Formwork Shuttering Panels

3-Ply Formwork Shuttering Panels CLASS B
Shuttering panels from Salesbridges are a premium product that is characterized primarily by its long lifetime and the high quality of the surface.
The exclusive use of selected raw materials (spruce), kiln drying to 10 % ± 2 % moisture content and strict control during production guarantee durable 3-ply shuttering panels of consistent quality.
The specific panel construction results in a substantial improvement in dimensional stability and load-bearing capacity. This is why all specifications are manufactured with three layers laminated perpendicular to each other. The outside layers are produced from edge-glued sheets. These prevent tension and warp of the panels and result in accurate, straight, and flat surfaces.
The surface of the panel is grinded and a resistant melamin rasin is pressed into the top-layer. The look of the concrete is perfect as the surface of our shuttering panel is extraordinary smooth because of grinding. The clean surface also prevents concrete rests tob e able to stick to the shuttering panel after taking of the formwork at the construction site. As we press 2 layers of melamin raisin into the surface , the lifetime of the panel is extraordinary long.
Panel construction:
21mm: 7/7/7
27mm: 9/9/9
  •  Perfectly smooth surface of the panel
  • Beautiful concrete appearance
  • Resistant melamin raisin (pressed into the surface under strong pressure)
  • Long lifetime
  • Many uses possible (up to 12-15 on each side)
  • Great dimensional stability and high weight loading capacity
  • Internal and external quality control ensure constant and high product quality
  • Use of selected sawn timber with small annual rings
  • Kiln drying to 10 % ± 2 % moisture content
  • Weight:
    21 mm = 9.45 kg/m2; 21 mm E-Profile =9.65 kg/m2
    27 mm = 12,15 kg/m2;

3-PLY Formwork Panels CLASS A
formwork 3ply panels are built with three layers of wood obtained from fir and spruce trees grown in sustainable forests.
Our panels are made with a 3-ply structure 9+9+9 mm, without frame.
This means that the mechanical properties of our panel are the same and unchanged even if you cut the panel.
The outer plies that are in touch with the concrete are thicker (9mm vs 6mm) and will allow the panel to last longer.
Lamellas of GBM panels are prepared from a glulam monolitic beam having a smaller width which improves the resistance of the panel and automatically reduces the maximum dimension of accepted knots.
Our panels have a melamin finish, just like other panels, but having a greater quality of raw material we can provide it with natural color finish. Of course we can also provide with the classic yellow finish.
The reason why yellow is used is to cover possible aestethical defects of the wood, because yellow tends to uniform the view.
We are sure enough of our quality that we offer it with natural finish. This finish is also optimal for at sight concrete.
We are introducing a polyuretane protection on the longitudinal edges as an optional. This option will allow a perfect smooth contact of the panels edges and it will improve the concrete finish.
We can customize our panels with the following options:
  • Name printed on the top face of each panel - standard will be with day and hour of production for perfect production tracking;
  • Name / logo printed on each bundle
  • Selection of colors for the edges.
  • Wood type: spruce and red fir
  • Wood humidity: 12% +/-2%
  • Thickness: 21mm; 27mm
  • Weight:
    • 21 mm = 10 kg/m2;
    • 27 mm = 12,3 kg/m2;
  • Protection surface: highly resistant melamine resin coating
  • Standard packaging:
    • 21 mm: 100 pcs per package
    • 27 mm: 80 pcs per package
