VTLI Secure Transport Case for Lithium-Ion Batteries
The VTLI secure transport case is designed for the safe packaging, storage and transportation of intact or defective lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are classified as dangerous goods and require packaging that complies with applicable transport safety regulations.
This reusable lithium battery case combines a highly robust, stackable housing with flame-retardant, non-conductive fibreglass padding. The padding fully encapsulates batteries, reduces shocks and vibrations, and can absorb leaking electrolytes. This makes the VTLI transport case suitable for professional battery returns, servicing, storage, recycling and shipping applications.
The transport case is UN approved and meets relevant requirements for UN3480, ADR, IATA, RID and the IMDG Code. When shipping, the packaging must carry the required Class 9 dangerous goods label, and all applicable packing instructions must be followed.
